Exploring the interconnected world of research
Welcome to my research interests page, where I delve into the fascinating connections between statistics, economics, and environmental challenges. My work explores how these fields intersect to understand and address critical issues. Whether you're an academic, a potential collaborator, a student, or simply curious, I invite you to explore the breadth and depth of my investigations.

Statistical & Econometric
foundations
Data tells a story! I use statistical and econometric methods to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights. By combining rigorous modeling, causal inference, and advanced analytics, I uncover patterns, test hypotheses, and build evidence-based solutions to real-world economic and business problems.

Econometrics and environmental economics
My work extends into the fascinating fields of econometrics and environmental economics. By using econometric methods I aim to quantify economic relationships, especially as they pertain to environmental issues. This allows me to analyse the socio-economic impact of environmental hazards, disasters and policies, the costs of climate change, and the valuation of natural resources. Understanding these economic dimensions is crucial for crafting effective solutions to global challenges.

Navigating environmental hazards and cyber risks
A significant portion of my research is dedicated to environmental natural and technoloigcal hazards and disasters, as well as environmental context hazards. I furthermore explore the complex phenomenon of cascading environmental hazards and disasters, where one event triggers another. In today's digital age, the emerging area of cyber digital risks to the environment is also a key focus, examining how technological vulnerabilities can impact ecological systems. My goal is to understand these threats to better predict, mitigate, and adapt to them.

Discover the interconnections
The most important aspect of my work is the profound interconnection among all these topics. From statistical modelling to the economic impact of cyber-environmental risks, every area of my research highlights how deeply intertwined our world is. I believe understanding these relationships is key to addressing the complex challenges we face.
